Texas has been experiencing a severe drought. All of the creeks in our area are dried up and have been for some time. There is nothing for the deer to eat as evidenced by every rib showing. We bought some deer feed the last time we went to get Sundance some hay and grain. I have been throwing it out in the morning and night along with filling a bucket with water. The water is always gone in the morning. I think they are going to have a very hard time surviving the winter since they are already very thin. Poor mom trying to keep her babies alive! We have usually about 14 of them out there at a time.
