Birds of a Feather!

In keeping with our vintage old book bridal shower, we saw this book wreath on line and decided to recreate it. We made two and used one of our old books (Charles Dickens to be exact). Morgan about died when she walked in a saw us tearing pages from this book! The one we saw had a welcome banner on it but in keeping with our vintage theme, we had Lexi design us two little finches. Ginger and I had so much fun yesterday going to all the stores to get the items we needed. We are getting these mini cupcakes from this amazing place so of course we had a tasting yesterday. We are going with key lime, hummingbird, Italian creme, and samoa?. They all have the coloring to go with our motif and they are amazing!! The flowers we are getting are BEAUTIFUL and will look so wonderful in our mason jars scattered around.

We will practice making the scones this week to see if we can make them and they taste good. The swedish fish in the jar we will just scatter around with the little tag that says "So many fish in the sea, I finally found the one for me!" CUTE It is rare to find a person that you can have so much fun with and just be you and you are so much alike that being you is actually kind of being them! Hard to explain but G and I are definitely birds of a feather!
