This morning my run was back to 10:01 a mile, but in my defense it was extremely windy and part of the run was facing the run and I had a hard time keeping my pace on those stretches. Of course Rick decided to come with me today and he blew me away on his first day. No fair! He took Pepper (our overweight dog) with him, but after the first mile he had to put her in the house. She was about to have a heart attack. We barely made it in the house when Texas had one of its famous downpours and yes there was hail. Thankfully we were spared that! Hopefully the track meet will not be rained out for tonight.
