The Gneighting family. He built the western backdrop for the Santa room and it was awesome. He is the young men's president and love this family.
Last year was Mexican Fiesta and this year was Western Christmas. The decor was pretty basic but awesome. Rick hung the lights and then they had picnic table clothes. They had a girl come and lead them in line dancing which the kids really liked. The food was catered from Rudy's which is a must go to when you come to Texas. It is brisket, chicken, sausage, they also do an amazing cream corn and everyone was excited to see that on the menu. Volunteers signed up for baked beans or Texas sheet cake so that was the only food that members had to worry about. Brother Condray who has the best southern Texas accent recited a cowboy poem about the nativy which was amazing. Then some scriptures were read and carols sung. The word on the street was best party ever!
