We read the cutest story about Christmas trees and why they aren't perfect. I love reading these new books that we haven't read before. The kids made feather Christmas trees and then our advent activity was to make a clay nativity. We only got part way through. I need Lexi to make our Mary and Joseph tomorrow. Rick spent the day at the boy's school today. Our school has the Watch Dogs (Dads of Great Students) Program and so he spent the day at the school helping out. He helped in the spanish class, wrapped AR point presents for the kids in the library, gym class, lunch, helped in various classrooms. He was able to have his picture taken with the boys and in gym class the boys got to introduce him and then lead their class in the exercises. They thought it was great to be able to see him around the school all day. I thought he would be worn out but he had a good time and enjoyed it!

Cute crafts! Lexi has quite a talent with clay! How awesome that Rick is able to have time to go to school all day. My kids would love that. Probably will never happen but that's a neat program!
