Work Ethic (Not)

We have a bunch of weeds in the back yard that have pokey burrs on them that Rick wanted the boys to pull out. When they got home from school, I told them the great news! Blake's face was priceless. You know how kids move their food around on their plates and then try and convince you that they actually ate something. That was Blake's strategy. He would pull one out and then wander around trying to look busy. He did the same thing when we weeded the garden. He got distracted by a spider, and couldn't focus on anything else for the fear that a spider would get him. Caden worked pretty consistently. They are deciding to not tax themselves too much and do it in installments!!!
