Grey headed down to Rockport, which is four hours away on the coast, on Saturday. He got back late Wednesday night and he and Mat came over Thursday morning around 8:30. Kayla was going to drop Mat off at daycare for. couple hours while she ran some errands. I told her he was welcome to come if Grey would be ok with it. Grey in the past has been very protective of us and Kayla likes that they have some time apart because they fight a lot. Since it was only going to be for a couple hours, Grey thought it would be ok. He was a bit territorial over his things but it went really well. After Matt left, we played games, went to Target and rode bikes a lot. This morning he woke up at 7 and we waited for Rick to get home from work and started to spread our 100 bags of mulch. We did about 1/2 before we decided to take a break. My back is just not great at doing work that requires lifting and bending. We need to do the back yard and one side still. Grey was cute and worked pretty good for about 40 minutes. He spread mulch, and cut open all the bags for us. He earned 20 dollars and was so proud of himself. He rode his bike and scooter around the rest of the time we worked. After we went to the indoor water slide park. He stayed for about 2 hours and then we headed home. Took the pups on a walk while Grey rode his bike. Came home and we are beat. He will stay until tomorrow afternoon and then I will fly out Sunday to help support Lexi as they deal with the health issues with sweet baby Hudson.
