The Better Part

The girls had a choice to make and it when it comes to these two girls there was really only ever one choice. They had a soccer tournament this weekend and they also had a temple trip. Since we are three hours from a temple, our kids only get this opportunity a couple times a year. They never even contemplated missing. They are starters for the team but they told their coach they had a church obligation that they needed to go to. Lexi had the devotional on Friday in seminary and she shared this scripture in Deuteronomy "Thou shalt surely give him and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him, because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto" Even though it is referring to the poor, she felt that it applied to this situation and how she knows that no matter the sacrifice that she makes, if she puts the Lord first in her life he will bless her more that she can even know!!

I am clicking a "like" button. Sure enjoy reading about your family and getting to know you all better through your blog. You have a beautiful family!
We just said goodbye to the last of our family flying away. Two weddings, two receptions, one roundtrip drive to Snowflake, AZ, and the open house on Saturday night, with Christmas right smack in the middle! Loved it all and we are so happy to welcome two new daughters-in-law! More Daniels!
Enjoy your kids at home because they will be on their own too soon. Love from Aunt Carol Anne
