Morgan has a couple weeks off before she starts her new job. She is trying to work in some fun little trips before she starts but everyone is working. Looks like she got Kylie to go with her to Angel's Landing for the weekend.
Rick had to work yesterday and I really wanted broccoli cheese soup to break my fast so I texted Betty and Wilma (widows) on Saturday to see if they wanted to join me. They did and so they came over and we had a lovely meal together followed by an eclair for each of us. I taught them how to play skull king and that was fun. They are both in their 80's but going strong. Wilma still takes care of her 1 acre property. Mowing and trimming etc. She has fallen a couple times and thankfully one time she had some workers there and they helped her up. I told her she always needs to take her phone with her! The other tine she knocked herself out but after coming to she was able to crawl to a place to pull herself up. She has three boys but they are not active. She does not have a relationship with one and the other one is busy with his own family. Her youngest one is disabled but he is the one that checks on her the most and called her when she was at my home to check on her. Betty has a big family and they all check on her often. Her daughter that lives a couple hours away orders her groceries every week and has them delivered. So she is taken care of!
