Lexi started her training at a hospital in Salt Lake. She applied to the NP program at the University of Utah since they do not require experience and she made it through the first round of applicants. She was just notified today that they want to interview her so that is the 2nd round. It would be so awesome if she got in. The only down side is that her job is a 2 year commitment but she needs two years experience for most NP programs. Utah is one of the only ones that does not require it. If she doesn't get in this year, she will work and apply for the next fall to more schools and that includes Texas. I would love her back in Texas but I also would love her to get going on her grad school ASAP! So proud of her and her hard work!
