New York/Europe/Lexi Home

Atop the Empire State Building.  I was trying to look out the wrong end and didn't realize you needed to put money in!  We loved the old brownstone buildings off of Central Park.

Lexi and I ready for church.  We have had so much fun hanging out and catching up!

Morgan flew to Europe the same day we went to New York.  She started in Greece and was able to see the Olymic torch lighting.  This little bird sat under her the entire time.

Exploring Central Park and the 9-11 museum.

Our last night seeing Les Miserable.  It was the best one yet!

Beautiful flowers in Central Park and us in Time Square.  Our hotel overlooked Time Square.  Very noisy and active!

Riding the Staten Island Ferry and going by the Statue of Liberty

It started pouring day two. Thankfully we brought rain gear!

We always have a good time with the Schoenrocks and this trip was no exception.  This was at Barton Park where the fashion industry is.

We explored this castle that was a look out back in the 1800's.  It was beautiful.

The subways were full on crazy and I got stuck inside one set of doors.  They are meant to open like elevators if someone is walking out but this one did not work.  It slammed me in it and wouldn't let go.  I was freaking out that the subway was going to head off with me half in and half out.  Thankfully I wretched myself through.  My traveling partners didn't even notice, they had continued on and missed my near death experience!

Morgan in Rome.  She attended LDS church and then she went to Catholic Mass.  She said it was fascinating.  She is having an amazing time.
