These boys survived!!  Rick has never been so tired.  He was going from before 6 until after midnight and walked the trek along with everyone else.  He had a wonderful time serving all those kids and adults.  He washed many feet and doctored them and as he was washing their feet he could picture the Savior and he said he would tear up every time.  He really did love these kids as he served them.  They got home around 4:30 and time he got everything put away it was 8 and he had to work the next day.  He said going to work would be a vacation after trek!  The boys had a good time and it wasn't as hard as they were expecting.  They both liked their families and Blake hit it off with his pa really well.  Blake did get an infected toe and Rick treated that for him.  Both boys came home with several chigger bites but not too bad.  One little boy had over 300 bites on him.  Poor kid.  They saw and killed a few rattlesnakes.  It was on an exotic ranch so they saw zebra and several African deer.  Blake missed me and when he read my letter he said he cried so he had to put his sunglasses on so no one could see.  Caden thanked me for my letter, but he isn't my emotional one!  I am proud of them and they seemed to step up and make the most of their time.  I was lonely by day two and was so excited to have them back!!
