Annual Shaniels' Christmas Party

The kids a while ago combined our family names and they use it to refer to our families sometimes! We always refer to our annual Christmas party this way. We came home from church and Rick made amazing enchiladas and nachos for dinner. We had pie, peanut clusters, dipped pretzels for dessert!! Then the kids played some minute to win it games and had a ball. We ended by opening up the kids' gifts to each other. Caden and Barret both wanted new basketballs. The kind that are supposed to stay inflated. Blake and Wyatt wanted remote control items. Blake-a snake and spider, Wyatt - car. Taylor and Lexi both got each other wind pants and Morgan received her family recipe book that all the families contributed to!! As she pored over the pages, she exclaimed this is the best present ever! So thanks to all of you that sent recipes. It will mean so much to her to have a piece of all of you as she embarks on her own!!! Paul and Rick finished the day by doing their home teaching! Such a great day filled with the gospel, good food, great friends, love and laughter!! Can you really ask for more out of a day???
