Scarlett (Cindy's daughter) gave her farewell talk at church today and it was very powerful. She has not had the typical life that most kids in the church have had. She lost her mother when she was so young I think around 7. Then her dad had a lot of addictions and ended up dying this year by a cop when he came out brandishing a weapon. She has been adopted and sealed to her dad's sister and Rick's mom has played a very important role in her life as well!
