Week happenings!

Date at a new Peruvian restaurant.  It was good and we will go back and try something else!

 Rick had his MRI on Monday and it was a more intense one so he didn't get a chance to meet with the radiologist to look at it. They sent him a log in so he could see it when they had finished reading it.  Monday we were a bit on edge worrying about what it would show.  Would that concerning spot be bigger or tumor or just result of radiation. Would the other spot in the tumor bed be gone.  And would there be any. new spots.  He went to work on Tuesday and I went to Canasta with some ladies in the ward.  They play every Tuesday and always invite me but I haven't gone yet.  They asked again and so I went and made lemon tarts.  It was fun and when I got in the car, Rick had got the results. The one spot was no bigger so that was good and the other one was a bit bigger but he would meet with Valiant the next day.  So we felt pretty hopeful.  Wednesday I picked up Grey while Rick went to the appointment.  Valiant is pretty sure they are not new tumors but just change in tissue from radiation. Since the one was a bit bigger, he has to go back in six weeks for another MRI to see what changes there are and if they need to worry about that one.  So we played hard with Grey and took him to the park.  He had a sleepover and then I had him by myself on Thursday.  He wore me out and my back was really not happy by the night time but it is always so worth it.  Kayla picked him up around 3.   Friday, we worked out in the morning and then planted a couple plants.  We then were adventurous and tried a new restaurant.  We are going to start trying new places.  It was really good and we will go back and try the things Morgan loved when she was in Peru.  We went to get groceries for the weekend and having the missionaries and Wilma over for Sunday dinner.  Finished off my watching two episodes of making the cut.  Monday and Tuesday we are going a couple hours away and staying at a resort that has a golf course.  We have.a tee time at 7:40 Tuesday morning.  Rick really loved playing at the reunion and wants me to give it a try.  So we will have a mini vacation not far from home!
