Christmas 2020

What fun these three had I am sure!  I made peanut clusters for Morgan too!

Max adores Morgan as most dogs do!  She cannot wait to get her little Milton

Christmast Pj's .  We had to get James a cat shirt since he expressed his intent to marry Morgan in cat Pj's!

We have loved having these two in our home.  It is so good to see your children happily married!

A pic of Paul's famous potatoes.  Caden asked for the recipe so he could try and make them for his comps.

Rick's stuffing was amazing.  James does not usually like stuffing and he got 2nds and then ate some the next day.

Lexi and Arlo both in awe that Ivy slept for almost an hour in her crib by herself.  They had to document the occasion!

We sure love this little girl!

Morgan and James took a bike ride around Lady Bird lake on Christmas Day

Grey came over for a few hours Christmas afternoon.  He was wearing Christmas PJ's but he went right into his dresser looking for truck shirts.  He came out with a dozer shirt and car pj bottoms.  He also had two more presents under the tree and he went right over and grabbed them and opened them!

The siblings sent me this pic of mom enjoying her popcorn balls which apparently is a weight loss aide!  She had lots of family with her which was so nice!

Ginger had all three of her kids home,  I only had Morgan and James but it was a lovely dinner.

Rick had to work Christmas Day so we did Christmas on the 24th.  We opened the tree and then we headed to the Schoenrocks for early dinner.  We had prime rib and ham and then all the amazing sides. We played lots of skull king and cover your assets and Caden called. He only had a little bit of time to talk because they had to run some last minute packages to those in their districts and then they were going to have a mission zoom call where they all made cookies together.  He opened his Christmas Pj's while we were talking and then he was going to open the rest of his stuff on Christmas.  He is doing great and seemed in good spirits!  Morgan and James took of Christmas morning to head to Austin to ride bikes and then they went to Wonder Woman in the afternoon.  We played some more skull king and we are keeping a tally.  James 9, Elena 2, Morgan 1, Rick 1.  So I have concluded that James is a skull king master.  Today Morgan and James got up early to head to Austin for breakfast at Gordoughs and then meet up with Morgan's friend April.  Then the clan will have a paintball afternoon and end with a bonfire at Ginger's house.  Blake and Nicole got back yesterday afternoon and we saw them for a few minutes but they will join us at paintball and bonfire and then I think they will join us at church tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a group picture! Christmas sure looks and feels different when your kids grow and start their own lives and families.  I told Rick that next year he and I are going to Germany for Christmas.  My treadmill has programs that you can run to and I have been doing the 12 days of Christmas and they have been taking me on runs through Christmas towns.  Dresden and Nuremberg know how to do Christmas right and it was so magical!  So that is my plan if all goes right in the world!
