Easter/Conference Weekend
This morning we woke up and prepared a few food items before or morning conference session. The kids colored a few eggs. After the morning session we had our Easter dinner consisting of ham, potatoes with mushroom gravy, fruit salad, vegetable salad, stuffing and rolls. Everything was so yummy and we finished with time to spare before the afternoon session came on. We had invited a couple people from church, but one went to San Antonio and the elderly couple ended up getting sick so it was just us. Yesterday we watched the morning session at home and then went to the Schoenrocks for hamburgers and salads for lunch. We then stayed there and watched the afternoon session. We left after that so my boys could get ready for the priesthood session. We toured their new home. The outside is pretty much done and you can walk around and see where all the rooms are going to be. It is beautiful and the 52 acres that it is on is quiet and full of trees and flowers. They have an amazing view out the back of the house and lots of windows to enjoy it. Paul is acting as his own subcontractor so it is going a little slow but it will be so nice when it is done. Blake and Caden enjoyed shooting guns and riding four wheelers all over the place in between sessions. Got their wiggles out! A lovely weekend and I think it is perfect to have conference weekend on Easter. I loved the talks about our Savior and the reminders to improve and strive to become more like him everyday. I loved having all my children around me and just enjoying the fun spirit that they all bring to our home. I am a truly blessed gal!
