On to Rome

It was raining pretty hard when we got to the temple grounds but we loved the visitors center.

Each apostle has something that symbolizes them and also shows the manner of their death.

Making fun of me and my Mary Poppins reference!   

Trevi fountain super crowded. You can make a wish at the fountain and this has been shown in several movies.

They had four huge olive trees on the property. Stunning!

These gold doors resemble the ones that are on the baptistery in Florence that Ghiberti that depicts the life of Christ.  We saw these doors in the Duomo and they had been removed and stored in there. Made from gold.
