| Famous popovers that we waited two hours to try. Not worth the wait. |
We took a three hour lighthouse cruise and it was nice. We got to see amazing homes that were owned by Martha Steward, JP Morgan, Dick Wolf etc. They call them all cottages but some have 100 rooms. The owners are there maybe a month out of the year and leave it in the hands of caretakers. Cannot fathom having that much money. After our cruise we were planning to go to Cadillac mountain and then Jordan Pond but you have to have a car reservation for Cadillac and they were all sold out and sell out fast. We could see it, but not go up on it. So we walked around the pond and waited for our name to be called for the popovers. They were good but not worth the 2 hour wait. We then took our 3 hour drive to back to Portland for our flight out the next day.
