Card games were a favorite past time!

Tuesday some of the group went to a reservoir to swim and jump off cliffs.  We also rented jet skis and Morgan and Brittany took a spill into the water.  Morgan is a bit of a speed demon!   I guess the swimmers itch was bad right now and Jake and Hunter got it but it didn't seem to last too long.  A family that was on the beach at the same time had quite the ordeal.  All of the kids got it and the screaming and shedding of clothes and the application of lotions was quite a scene.  The deep water did not have it so the kids that cliff dived and did jet skis were not affected.  This reunion was a special time to be with Caden before he leaves us for two years.  The place that we stayed at had ten bedrooms but six were on one side and four were on the other side.  We put the kids in the smaller unit and there was also ping pong, pool table, and a hot tub on the balcony.  The pool was a huge hit and mom and David along with a lot of the kids used that every chance they got.   Eli might have gone the most!  There was also a pickle ball court where a few friendly competitions took place.  Alisa, Dean and the girls made a great breakfast and then we had Cafe Rio later that night for dinner.  We stayed up late visiting, playing cards, and lots of laughs.  Dad struggled a bit with his back and his appetite is not very good. He would go to bed before most of us, but thank goodness he can sleep through noise!  Caden was able to help Rick and Scott give him a blessing and that was special for him and his first time!
