My girls were gone last night. They are doing our girls camp in two parts this year. Last night the YL's and 4th years went to spend the night. The YL's would be getting their assignments and ready to certify the girls and the 4th years would be marking a hiking trail. My girls are so good. I went to girls camp one time and didn't like it so just didn't go back. They do both enjoy camping but coming home from a long week at school and leaving for a night of camping was not their favorite plan. A lot of girls decided no to go, but Lexi and Morgan did. We always miss them when they are not here at night. Rick said I wish they had their cell phones, I want to say good night and I love them and see if they are okay!!

The girls had their fitness tests this past week. Morgan measured 5'5 and little Lexi who has been telling everyone she was 5'3 was plunged down to 5'2. She told me to blog "curse you Grandma your ruining my life!!!" (line from a movie) She hasn't given up hope of gaining a couple of inches, but she has been this height since sixth grade. We shall see what my boys turn out to be. We seem to raise shorties.

The boys class had pancake no pencil day yesterday. They basically came to an activity center where we homeroom moms had tables with griddles and pancake batter all ready. The teachers then cooked their class pancakes. They were cute, we had music blaring and the teachers danced while cooking. After the kids ate their five classes rotated to five different stations that each homeroom mom was in charge of. Rick and I did a variety of activities at ours. One they liked was we split them into four groups of five and I would say send me the tallest, they would pick a representative and then it would be who had the tallest thumb, largest (largest bubble to be blown) fastest (sing ABC song) etc. My throat hurt so bad last night from yelling during some of the games. The kids had a great time though.

Tell Lexi that Brittany feels her pain! It's hard to believe she started off in the 90th percentile for her height. But, tell her that just gives her more options of boys who will be taller than her! Your activities at school sounded so fun. I'll have to remember that one!
