Sunday (go day) and Monday

| You can tell by Lexi's face that she notices something is wrong. |
Lexi was induced Sunday morning and all went well until it was time to push. During her contractions, Hudson's heart was not tolerating it and was not coming back up very well. The doctor told Lexi they needed to get him out quickly. The vacuumed it out pretty much and when he came out they thought he was in respiratory distress. He didn't cry but Lexi said they didn't even give him much time before they used the CPAP machine on him which blows air to open his airways but in so doing they popped both his lungs. They did not know they did it at first. So they get him and give him back to Lexi and she nurses him and he is pink and looks good. I arrive with Ivy pretty quick after they get them in the room. She was so excited to see him. We had gotten them matching valentine day outfits for a hospital picture but that did not turn out. I held him and thought his coloring looked off. I said he has a totally different complexion that Ivy did but it wasn't very bright in the room. We gave him back to Lexi to hold with Ivy and Lexi immediately knows something is wrong. She calls the nurse who comes in and also knows his coloring is off. She unwraps him and pats him on the back which wakes him up and he starts to pink up. They take him off to check it out and could not figure out why he kept having deceleration in oxygen. They did the x-ray and saw that both of his lungs were popped and his chest wall was full of air. This meant that he spent the next couple days in the NICU so no one could see him but Lexi and Levi. Monday I took Ivy to see Lexi and Levi and then we went to a cute toy store.
