!st Sunday Home

Rick and I were able to watch the devotional President Williams did for our stake.  It was 30 minutes.  We then went to the church so Rick could interview a little girl for her upcoming baptism.  He then dropped me off and headed to the hospital to visit a member of our ward who had a bad infection in his hip joint and they have had to do two surgeries and he wasn't doing good.  We are planning on having the Schoenrocks and Blake and Nicole over for dinner and partake of the sacrament when they get here.  We were counseled to take this opportunity to be found honoring the Sabbath day, to use the parable of the Good Samaritan as our guide and not pass by.  To be found doing good and ministering to one another and our neighbors.   Next week the Bishops are all supposed to broadcast a devotional for the ward members and then the following week the EQ president or RS President and then we will have General Conference.

Rick's blood work came back and looked good.  He sent it on to the oncologist and we will see if he wants him to do the 2nd round of chemo this next week.  Talked to Morgan today and we will see if she will be able to come home on the 27th.  As of today she can but the news changes daily.
