The boys were invited to a paintball party for a girl in our ward that was turning 16. They were so excited. The party started at 9 but Blake was up at 6 fully clothed and had all his equipment. Rick, of course, went with all of his stuff just in case he could stay. He and one other parent and the parents of the girl, joined the fun as well. Rick sustained quite the gash on his leg as he was scaling a wall. He said if someone had brought him in to the ER he would have stitched it up, but he just is treating it with antibiotics and creams. He is limping a little bit. I told him he needs to remember his age!! They had a blast, then came home and showered, picked up a friend and headed to a gun show. After that they went and helped for a few hours staining the trek handcarts. After a full day, they were ready to come home and hang with friends watching a movie. Blake loves those kinds of days! I worked on school, took a meal in to a new baby family, and cleaned my house. So my day, was not so exciting, but it feels good to get things accomplished. The boys are off today and then they have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday( all day field day party) and Friday at 9:00 am they graduate and come home. I cannot believe my youngest kids will be freshmen next year. Times they are a changing! Caden received the presidential excellence in education signed by the President. Blake has found out that he has passed four out of the five tests needed and he is just waiting to hear about math. The math we are the most concerned about so nothing like keeping us in suspense.
