Day Three Galway, Donegal

A picture of us in front of our Bed and Breakfast that we stayed  in Galway

Place where Yeats was buried.  Of course, Morgan the English major was excited to see that.  Inside the church on the wall, there were beautiful plagues that people had special messages written to their loved ones that had died.  There was this beautiful one that this husband had written about his wife.  He said such lovely things and I told Rick he can just copy that and add my name!  We then went on to Galway which was very touristy in town with lots of shops.  There were the Galway horse races and we did not go because it was raining.  I wish we would have.  A jockey who had not raced for a while because he suffered from depression was convinced by an owner to come and ride in the race.  He is not very old and has a young family.  He agrees to race and is riding a horse that has 30-1 odds so not ranked very good at all.   This guy takes this horse and wins by a landslide.  It was a race that is very long and you have to jump obstacles along the way.  If you had bet on him, you would be very well off today!  It was a very good comeback Cinderella story.
