Said goodbye to Lovie Lane this morning before we headed off to Austin to sign it over!

We had a couple really hot and sweaty days.  Moving in July in Texas is no fun!

This is our temporary rental for a few months.  The dogs are not sure what has happened.  Gracie is freaked out by the chime the doors make whenever they are opened and she has taken to staying upstairs with the boys since it is not as loud up there.

Jack keeps trying to get in the car and go home.  He has decided that is not happening after a few days have gone by.

One level home on over an acre.
Kitchen is open to the family room and has high ceilings which I really like.

The yard has two fences.  The first fence is to keep the previous owners small dog in and they have it grassed and sprinklers.  The rest of the yard goes back to the wooden fence and is very private.  They have planted quite a few trees.

Rick in front of his home away from home.  They like to spotlight the docs and nurses on their facebook page and it was his turn!

So we officially sold Lovie Lane today and we found another home already.  Our plans to build just were not going to be smart.  It was going to cost way more than we were willing to spend.  We decided we would keep our eyes open for a house that had most of what we were looking for.  One level, high ceilings, open concept, private with at least an acre, pool,   I happened to see a couple open houses available last weekend and we went and looked at them.  They basically were the same house on the same road except one didn't have as many upgrades but it was a bit bigger.  The 2nd one was smaller but had a nicer lot, plantation shutters, nice hardware on all cabinets, built in storage in the garages, dog friendly yard etc.  We decided to make an offer and they accepted.  So we will be moving once again the end of August.  This time we will hire a few guys to move the big stuff!  A guy in our ward has a brother that has a team so we think we will try and get him to do it.  It is just not worth risking an injury!  Rick is excited about the yard.  This home did not have a pool, but our plan is to put one in this fall so that it is ready for next summer, the boys last summer home and then it will be the fun grandparent home!  The pool will go behind the iron fence he thinks.  He has plans on making that back portion really beautiful.  This home only has three bedrooms plus an office and media room, but each bedroom has a private bath so that is nice.  Hopefully everything will go smoothly!

I have lost track of how many times you've moved! Part of me is jealous as it would be nice to be forced to go through everything and start fresh. Part of me is overwhelmed at the thought of going through everything! You do a much better job at getting rid of things so I'm sure that is helpful. New house looks lovely. Glad you found what you wanted quickly!
