Ellie has been having health issues for awhile and they were not going away. Rick thought a mass in her brain or MS. She did some tests and then after those checked out she did a quick trip to Utah where you can get an MRI without a dr referral. She didnt even make it back to her car before they called her back and wanted her to go straight to the ER since there was a mass and it was herniating into her brain stem which controls a lot of important functions like breathing. She hurried and flew back to arizona on wednesday and they admitted her and she had the surgery. It was the size of an orange but they got it all and they think it is a menigioma and not cancerous. She is still in neuro ICU but hoping to be moved to the floor soon. She will have no driving for a couple weeks but hopefully she will feel back to her normal self soon!!
