New School for Blake next year!

Rick, Blake and I met with the principal of the Gateway Tech School Friday to see if it would be a good fit for Blake next year.  He only has four classes to graduate and so how this school works is he will go 8-12 every day but it is just computer work and he can take notes during the lessons.  He can take whatever notes with him when he takes the tests.  His grades will only be test grades.  He will not have homework, projects etc.  As soon as he is done with the classes he can graduate.  Most graduate in February. He also can work more hours since he will be done at 12 every day.   He was excited about all of it.  I think it will be a good fit for him, since he had to do credit recovery for AP History and it was structured that way and he really liked it.  Then he will need to decide if he wants to go to lineman school.  They have campuses in Texas, Florida, California and Idaho.  It is only a short 3-month program and the one in Texas has a start next April or he could do Idaho in June.

Caden is so cute.  He met with some of his friends at the parkour place last night and he does that most Saturdays.  Anyway, a cute girl came up to him and said could she get his snap chat for her little brother.  Caden was like oh ok.  Then after she left Max his friend said to him, oh Caden she didn't want it for her brother!  He is so sweet and innocent.  Rick is making a new mascot costume because the one they gave Caden does not let him do fips.  We are hoping it will be good enough that they will approve it.  Rick is molding a new eagle head onto a helmet so that it will not fly off.  So far it is looking good so we will see.  Rick made some awesome new pants that look like bird feathers and Caden really liked them.  They fit Caden perfectly where the other costume had super baggy pants held up by giant suspenders.  Anyway hopefully they will let him do it or he won't really want to be the mascot.  He isn't into just doing the dancing and skits.

Jesse works at the lineman college in Idaho! I had no idea Blake wanted to do that. Sounds like he has a plan. I'm glad the high school seems to be a good fit. I can't wait to see Rick-s mascot costume. Is there nothing he can't do?! Sounds like Caden has found his niche. A neighbor has built a ninja warrior course in their backyard. Justin did it for mutual this week. Once their son masters something they add a new element. It's pretty impressive! He does not look like he has an ounce of strength in his body but he earned some major respect this week! Justin loved it!

What does Jesse think of the school and career. Blake is not interested in traditional college so I am trying to help him figure out other options. This one came to me in the early morning and Blake actually was interested. I didn’t know that was where Jesse worked!
