Thanksgiving 2016

The boys had the entire week off for Thanksgiving this year and Rick was scheduled to work most of the week so we decided to head to Utah.  It was so fun seeing the girls and having my childhood Thanksgiving dinner.  It was so nice to just visit with everyone and help mom and dad make the meal.  Mom was working and stressing over this one meal all week.  She was up all hours of the night walking the floors!  We had some good laughs!  Nichole as there until Tuesday and then we had Poppy and Pip for the holiday.  Poppy go off his chain at one point and we thought we lost him, but thankfully we found him.  Then on Thanksgiving day, during our meal we had tied them out.  Morgan looks out and screams that there was a huge pitbull standing over Poppy.  Thankfully Rachel's friend Scott was there and he went out and pulled the dog back and we were able to get both dogs scooped up and taken inside.  They called the owners and they came and picked him up.  So exciting times with the pups.  Monday night Nichole and I took Levi and Lexi out for dinner and that was my first introduction to him.  He then came over Tuesday to meet the boys.  He seems like a nice boy, but it is so very weird to see my daughter in a relationship.   She is very happy though.  Blake has been texting a friend of Brielles that he met over the summer.  They lined up a group hangout when they were in Utah.  Brad, Caden and Blake met the girls at the bowling alley for a game.  They had a fun time.  Blake and Caden spent most of their time either with the girls or over at Melinda's house.  It is nice that she lives to close to mom and dad.  Took the girls, Autumn and Rachel to the Happy Sumo.  Also was able to see David's house now that he is all moved in.  Played Rook a few times and just had a wonderful time!  Came home and put up some Christmas and will finish tomorrow!  I cannot believe the girls will be home in just a few weeks.
